October 5-8th 2010, in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, the XIV International science congress "Olympic sport and sport for all" devoted to the 80 years anniversary of the National university of physical education and sport of Ukraine will be held. It is planned to discuss the actual questions of different problems in theory and methodic of Olympic and professional sport, youth, women sport, sport for all and also sport medicine, people's health, recreation, physical rehabilitation and adaptive physical culture.
     The head organizer of The Congress is the Ministry of family, youth and sports affairs of Ukraine. The direct preparation and helding is put on the National university of physical education and sport of Ukraine, which partners are Ukrainian science academy and Olympic academy of Ukraine.
     Besides The Congress, also will be held the solemn gathering of the participants of the congress, collective and guests of the University, the solemn session of the NUPESU academic council, the different years university graduates' meeting, international exhibition of sport goods and equipment, presentation of the new education-methodical and science literature released by the publishing house "Olympic literature".
     About 700 leading scientists and other specialists from more than 60 countries of Europe, Asia, America, Africa etc. will take part in The Congress. In general, the whole pointed above complex of events will gather more than 2000 participants.
     Among the participants of The XIV International science congress "Olympic sport and sport for all" there will be well known figures of the International Olympic movement, sport science and education, qualified specialists of the sport of highest achievements and sport for all, physical education and other spheres from Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Russia, USA, Ukraine and many other countries.
     The international exhibition of sport goods is planned in the frameworks of The Congress. There will be presented sport equipment, trainers, sports stock, medical technics, scientific and diagnostic equipment, science-methodical and educational literature of different directions in physical education and sport. The purpose of the exhibition is the acquaintance of the specialists and wide ranges of usual visitors with latest achievements in the sphere of sport, special food, fitness etc.
     The session of the rector's council of The Association of higher educational institutions in the sphere of physical education and sport in Eastern Europe and Central Asia is planned during The Congress. There will be discussed the actual questions of coordinative activities and efforts' consolidation of specialized higher educational institutions in these regions.
