"Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB

     On November 20, 2018, the 1st meeting of the NUUPES Working Group on the implementation of the EU Erasmus + Program in the field of higher education with the participation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB was held. The meeting considered the following issues:

  1. Presentation of the REHAB project to the members of the NUUPES Working Group;

  2. Discussion of participation of the NUUPES representatives in the Erasmus+ workshop for Competition Winners 2018: Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education on Grant Implementation and Management, November 6, 2018;

  3. Discussion of the goals, objectives, expected results and stages of NUUPES activity in the REHAB project;

  4. Development of the project implementation plan and the work plan of the 1st Preparatory stage;

  5. Preparation of documents in accordance with plan of the 1st Preparatory stage (Regulations, Order, Grant and Partnership Agreement, Instructions, etc.);

  6. Designate responsible from the NUUPES Working Group for certain types of work according to the plan; 7. Organizational issues.

«Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine (REHAB)», March 13, 2019, Kyiv

On March 13, 2019, the second meeting of the NUUPES Working Group on the implementation of the EU Erasmus + Program in the field of higher education with the participation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB was held. The meeting considered the following issues:

1.The results from the beginning of the project (from November 15, 2018):

• Grant and Partnership Agreements are signed,
• prepared documents for registration of the Project in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine,
• a plan of purchase of rehabilitation equipment was drawn up,
• a EU approaches to Physical Therapy and Education were analyzed,
• developed a new Master's Degree Program in PT and a Bachelor's Degree Program in PT was updated.

2.Scheduled tasks for the near future (March-April 2019):

• to develop educational resources for the 1st Master’s year of study (2019-2020, pilot version) - study programs, recommendations for seatwork, tests, etc.,
• to develop an activity plan of NEO monitoring in Ukraine for the implementation of the Project (April-December 2019),
• prepare topics for PT webinars;
• continue to disseminate information about the project among teachers, students and the Kyiv communities,
• to intensify the participation of students in the competition for the REHAB LOGO creation.

"Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB

     On June 4, 2019, the third meeting of the NUUPES Working Group on the implementation of the EU Erasmus + Program in the field of higher education with the participation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB was held.

      The meeting considered the following issues:

• Report on the results of the participation of the NUUPES delegation with the Head of the International Relations Department, D. Nikonorov, the Head of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department, O. Lazarieva, associate professor of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department, I. Zharova, in the regular working meeting of the partners of the project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" (REHAB), which took place on May 20-26, 2019 at Joseph Pilsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland;
• Discussion of changes of the second master's degree curriculum and the analysis of educational programs in physical therapy in the EU countries, taking into account the comments made during the project partners' workshop in Warsaw on May 20-26, 2019;
• Preparation of reporting documents in accordance with the 1^st project period (15.11.2018 – 31.07.2019): Time Sheets, Joint Declarations, Individual Travel Reports, etc;
• Discussion of the action plan for monitoring NEO in Ukraine on project implementation, which will be held on November 22, 2019;
• Analysis of the developed curricula, lecture materials, practical training plans and materials for independent work of students for the 1^st master’s year in physical therapy;
• Results of seminars with NUUPES students on dissemination of information on the EU Erasmus + Program in the field of higher education with the participation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB;
• Discussion of the developed project poster / banner sketches.

"Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB

October 31, 2019, Kyiv, Ukraine

     On October 31, 2019, the fourth meeting of the NUUPES Working Group on the implementation of the EU Erasmus + Program in the field of higher education with the participation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB was held. The meeting considered the following issues:

1. Results of the participation of the NUUPES delegation with the Head of the International Relations Department, D. Nikonorov, associate professors of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department, O. Bismak and L. Kravchuk, Deputy Chief Accountant, L. Shcherbakova, in the regular working meeting of the project partners of the "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" (REHAB), which took place on 21-26 October, 2009 in Kaunas, Lithuania;

2. Discussion of the action plan for monitoring NEO in Ukraine, which will be held on November 22, 2019, issues on preparation of a report for the 1st year of the project implementation and other documents;

3. Results of seminars with the participation of NUUPES students on dissemination of information on the EU Erasmus + project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine" REHAB, October 29-30, 2019;

4. Discussion of the seminar program for the preparation of the KROK exam, November 20-21, 2019; 5. Organizational issues.
